Dona Ana County 4-H to host Fun Shoot fundraiser

The Dona Ana County 4-H Council is hosting a Fun Shoot fundraiser Saturday, Feb. 8, at the Butterfield Shooting Range. The event is open to both adult and youth teams. Registration is $250 for a team of five participants. Deadline for registration is Jan. 31.

The shoot begins at 10 a.m. and check-in starts at 9 a.m. The event proceeds will support 4-H programming, youth awards and 4-H leadership activities. Donations are welcomed.

"This event will be a fun time for everyone," said Eva Madrid, Dona Ana County 4-H agent. "It's a great opportunity for people to practice their shooting skills and support 4-H."

Dona Ana County 4-H is partnering with the Mesilla Valley Shotgun Sports Inc. for the event. The Butterfield Shooting Range is located at Corralitos Exit 127 on I-10 towards Deming, 12 miles west of Las Cruces.
