Community invited to receptions for NMSU vice president for university advancement candidates

The community is invited to participate in public receptions for the New Mexico State University candidates for the position of vice president for university advancement and president of the NMSU Foundation during on-campus interviews Feb. 5, 6, 11 and 13. The receptions will be held at 4 p.m. at the Corbett Center New Mexico Room 324.

Candidates will interview on the following schedule:

Feb. 5 - Glenna Beyer, managing director for Institutional Advancement, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas.

Feb. 6 - Kevin Bean, formerly associate vice president for university development for major gifts, University at Albany, Albany, N.Y., currently owner, Healthier 4U Vending in Glenville, N.Y.

Feb. 11 - Joshua Merchant, vice president for institutional advancement, Albion College, Albion, Mich.

Feb. 13 - Cheryl Harrelson, associate vice president for annual and special gifts, stewardship and special events, Washington State University Foundation, Pullman, Wash.

Each campus visit also will include an open forum for faculty, staff and students to listen to a presentation from the candidates and ask questions. The forums will be at 2:45 p.m. in the Corbett Center Auditorium Room 247. The forums will be webcast at http://panopto.nmsu.edu/vpuafps.
