BARNES AND NOBLE OPEN MIC NIGHTS


Barnes & Noble at NMSU will continue the popular Open Mic performances from 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays. To sign up to perform, contact bncafe@nmsu.edu.

Open Mic is free of charge and open to the public. Free parking is available in designated spaces. Barnes & Noble at NMSU is located at 1400 E. University Ave. For more information, call 575-646-5822.

AFRICAN HERITAGE CULTURAL LUNCHEON AT TAOS RESTAURANT

Sodexo Campus Dining will host a luncheon featuring cuisines reflective of the African heritage from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at Taos Restaurant on the NMSU campus. These lunch events cost one meal swipe for those with a meal plan or $7.50 plus tax for those without.

NMSU ATHLETICS PRESENTS, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL

NMSU Baseball will take on Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in a doubleheader starting at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22, and again at 5:05 p.m. They will face the same team at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, during "50 Cent Hot Dog Day," at the Presley Askew Field on the NMSU campus.

NMSU Baseball will face Oakland University at 6:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, during "Greek Recognition Night" at the Presley Askew Field on the NMSU campus.

NMSU Women's Basketball will take on Utah Valley University at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, at the NMSU Pan American Center.
