BARNES AND NOBLE OPEN MIC NIGHTS


Barnes & Noble at NMSU will continue the popular Open Mic performances from 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays. To sign up to perform, contact bncafe@nmsu.edu.

Open Mic is free of charge and open to the public. Free parking is available in designated spaces. Barnes & Noble at NMSU is located at 1400 E. University Ave. For more information, call 575-646-5822.

FREE PUBLIC STORY TIME WITH CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG

Clifford the Big Red Dog will return for a reading event at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 1, at the Barnes & Noble at NMSU. This event is free and open to the public. All campus parking is free on the weekends. Barnes & Noble at NMSU will be closed on Sunday, March 2, for inventory.

MESILLA VALLEY CONCERT BAND TO PERFORM AT ATKINSON RECITAL HALL

The Mesilla Valley Concert Band will perform at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at the Atkinson Recital Hall.

Guest conductors will include Rod Pior and Marc Moomaw, alongside guest soloist Margot Leverett. This event is free and open to the public.

NMSU ATHLETICS PRESENTS BASEBALL, BASKETBALL

NMSU Baseball will take on Oakland University in a doubleheader at 1:05 p.m. Saturday, March 1, and again at 5:05 p.m., followed by a ?Kids Run the Bases? postgame. They will face the same team at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, March 2, during ?50 Cent Hot Dog Day.?

NMSU Women?s Basketball will face California State University, Bakersfield, at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 1, at the Pan American Center, during their last home game of the season.

NMSU Men?s Basketball will face Grand Canyon University at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 6, during Senior Night. The inaugural Pervis Atkins Spirit Award will also be presented at halftime to a player on the NMSU football team.
