The NMSU Police Department and Dean of Students office are sponsoring the event, which is in its second year. The event is open to the public.

?New Mexico State University is a community where once you are a member you are always a member,? said Michael Jasek, dean of students. ?The Aggie Memorial is a way to remember those students, alumni and employees of our community who have passed during the last year. The memorial pays tribute to all those who have passed in a ceremony that is important to the campus.?
