BARNES AND NOBLE OPEN MIC NIGHTS


Barnes & Noble at NMSU will continue the popular Open Mic performances from 5 to 7 p.m. Fridays.

WWE LIVE COMES TO PAN AMERICAN CENTER

WWE LIVE will return to NMSU?s Pan American Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 7. Tickets are available at the Pan American Ticket Office, all Ticketmaster outlets, charged by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/venue/98676/.

ATKINSON RECITAL HALL TO HOST PERFORMANCES

At 7:30 p.m., Sunday, May 4, NMSU?s music department will host the Honor?s Recital at Atkinson Recital Hall. Admission is Free

FREE PUBLIC STORY TIME AT BARNES AND NOBLE

Barnes & Noble at NMSU will host its final costumed character story time for the school year at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 3, and at noon on Sunday, May 4. The featured story will be ?If You Give a Mouse a Cookie.?

The story times will return in the fall with ?Peter Rabbit? on Aug. 2 and 3, ?Maisy? on Sept. 6 and 7, ?Where the Wild Things Are? on Oct. 4 and 5, and ?Tacky the Penguin? on Nov. 1 and 2.

TAOS RESTAURANT TO HOST EVENTS

Corbett Center Student Union?s Taos Restaurant will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a special themed dinner from 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, May 3. Admission is one meal plan swipe or $7.75. The ?Finals Pancake Supper? will be from 9-11 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Taos Restaurant. There will be pancakes with all of the essential toppings, egg scrambles, breakfast pizza, a DJ, games and giveaways. The cost is one meal plan swipe or $2 and a canned food item. All canned food will be donated to the Aggie Cupboard. Taos Restaurant will close from 7-9 p.m. that evening in preparation for the event.

NMSU ATHLETICS PRESENTS BASEBALL

NMSU Baseball will take on Utah Valley University in a three-game series beginning at 6:05 p.m. Friday, May 2, during ?50 Cent Ice Cream Friday,? at the Presley Askew Baseball Field on the NMSU campus. The series will continue at 6:05 p.m. Saturday, May 3, during the ?Cinco de Mayo Fiesta,? and conclude with the final game beginning at 1:05 p.m. Sunday, May 4, during the last ?50 Cent Hot Dog Day? of the season.
