Four finalists to interview for dean of arts and sciences post

Four finalists for the position of dean of arts and sciences at New Mexico State University will participate in campus interviews in April and May.

e Waded Cruzado-Salas, a professor in the humanities department at the University of Puerto Rico - Mayaguez, who will interview April 23 and 24; Laura Huenneke, head of the biology department at New Mexico State, who will interview April 29 and 30; Ruth Maki, professor and chair of the psychology department at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, who will interview May 7 and 8; and Frank Talamantes, a professor of endocrinology, vice provost and dean of graduate studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz, who will interview May 12 and 13.

The finalists were selected from a national pool of candidates by a search committee chaired by Dean of Education Robert Moulton.
