Sol y Arena, New Mexico State University?s flamenco and Spanish dance ensemble will host a flamenco and Spanish dance with proceeds helping to sponsor students in the performance to study in Spain for the summer. Paco and Lucilene de Geus are the directors of the ensemble and say the trip to Spain will enrich the students? dancing knowledge and experience.

?The Viva Espana choreographies our students will be performing represent one of the most comprehensive collections of the flamenco forms we've ever been able to share in one dynamic evening,? said Frank Gilpin, director of the flamenco and Spanish dance ensemble. ?Many of our students presenting these dynamic works were part of either the 2012 or 2014 month long travels to Spain with one having experienced both. Finally, you can view the exuberant group who are stepping into the shoes of the graduating seniors who are extremely excited about making our next Spain Study in June of 2016 and are thankful for your support from all levels.?
