New Mexico State University Board of Regents to meet May 9

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, May 9, in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Center on the main campus in Las Cruces.

n the proposed agenda include:

- Approval of 2004-2005 capital outlay requests.

- Approval of land disposition adjacent to University Golf Course for commercial development.

- Approval of operating budget for fiscal year 2003-2004.

- Approval of resolution, notification and certification regarding 2003 New Mexico Severance Tax Bonds.

- Approval of resolution declaring board's intent to issue System Refunding and Improvement Revenue Bonds.

- Approval of changes to travel policies.

The regular meeting will be preceded by a meeting of the Board of Regents Budget and Audit Committee at 7:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, in Conference Room 133, Building "C" of the Genesis Center, 3655 Research Drive on the main campus. The Board of Regents will meet in a closed executive session at 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 9, in the same location for discussion of personnel, real estate and legal matters.

Following the regular meeting, there will be a meeting of the NMSU Research Park Corporation board of directors, followed by a meeting of the Physical Science Institute board of directors. Both of these meetings will be held in Room 2 of the Educational Services Center.
