NMSU Board of Regents to meet July 19-21

The New Mexico State University Board of Regents will meet for a strategic planning work session from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 20 and again from 8:30 to noon July 21 at the NMSU President?s Residence, 4501 Geothermal Dr., on the Las Cruces campus. No university policies will be formulated and no official votes or actions will be taken at that time.


The Board of Regents will have breakfast with the Dona Ana Community College Board of Advisors from 7-8:15 a.m. July 21 at the same location. No university policies will be formulated and no official votes or actions will be taken at that time.

A potential quorum of NMSU Regents will have dinner the evening of July 19 at 3418 Vista Primera. No university policies will be formulated and no official votes or actions will be taken at that time.

A closed executive session will be held at 12:15 p.m. July 21 in the Educational Services Center Room 2 on the Las Cruces campus to discuss personnel, real estate, water rights and threatened or pending litigation matters in accordance with sections 10-15-1 H (2), (7), and (8) of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act.

The NMSU Board of Regents will hold its regular meeting at 2 p.m. July 21 in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Center on the Las Cruces campus. The meeting will be webcast at http://panopto.nmsu.edu/bor/.

The annual membership meeting of Aggie Development, Inc. (ADI) will be held immediately at the end of the regular Board of Regents meeting on July 21 at the same location. The sole member of ADI is New Mexico State University acting through its Board of Regents.

The annual meeting of the Board of Directors of Aggie Development, Inc. will be held at 7 a.m. July 22 in the Hadley Hall Conference Room 130, 2850 Weddell Dr. on the NMSU campus. A potential quorum of NMSU Regents may be in attendance. No university policies will be formulated and university business will be transacted at that time.

Not less than 72 hours prior to the meeting, the agenda for the strategic planning meeting, regular meeting, annual membership meeting of ADI, and annual meeting of the Board of Directors will be posted on the university website at http://regents.nmsu.edu/agenda and will be available at NMSU, Zuhl Library, Las Cruces.
