The Madeleine L?Engle story of two children who must rescue their scientist father is adapted for the stage by John Glore and directed by Larissa Lury, assistant professor of theater in the College of Arts and Sciences.

?This science fiction story is ultimately about how members of a family can travel through their own separate adventures and can come back together stronger and more caring than ever before,? Lury said.

The show is ideally suited for children in fourth through sixth grade. In addition to the public shows, the crew and all-student cast will present several private performances of ?A Wrinkle in Time? for students visiting on field trips from local schools.

For the public performances, tickets are $5 and are available at the Center for the Arts box office, open noon to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, or by calling 575-646-4515.

The next theater production will be ?Frankenstein,? by R.N. Sandberg, Nov. 20- Dec. 6.
