Chief Information Officer News Release

A search committee has been established to seek candidates for the position of chief information officer/vice provost for information and technological services at New Mexico State University, said Library Dean Elizabeth Titus, who is chairing the search committee.

Screening of applications has begun and will continue until the position is filled, Dean Titus said.

The chief information officer (CIO), a new executive-level position, reports to the provost and is the chief individual responsible for communication and computing needs at the university. The position provides vision and leadership in the development, integration and operation of information technology for the innovative support of instruction, research, public service and administrative operations, including distance education, management information systems, budget and financial records.
