Library will have book display to celebrate El Dia de Los Ninos/El Dia de Los Libros

The New Mexico State University Library will have an exhibit of bilingual (Spanish-English) books for children displayed now through May 9 in the lobby of Zuhl Library.

ibit is celebrating El Dia de Los Ninos/El Dia de Los Libros, which was founded by Pat Mora, a noted children's author and member of the New Mexico Chapter of REFORMA, a national library association that promotes library and information services to Latinos and Spanish-speaking people. The emphasis of the program is to help communities celebrate the importance of reading in many languages.

El Dia de Los Ninos/El Dia de Los Libros is sponsored by the Library and the Southern New Mexico Engaging Latino Communities for Education (ENLACE) Collaborative.
