New Mexico State University professors to sign newly released books

The New Mexico State University Bookstore will present a book signing for Robert Boswell and Antonya Nelson, professors of English, from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the University Bookstore.

Antonya Nelson, author of "Female Troubles," and English professor at New Mexico State University. Robert Boswell, author of "Century's Son," and English professor at New Mexico State University.

Boswell and Nelson both have new books being released this month.

Boswell's book, "Century's Son," is a novel about the life of a family riddled with personal tragedy, and the way they deal with their painful history and the arrival of a relative who has reached celebrity status. It mixes humor and gravity, personal tragedy and historical events.

Nelson's book, "Female Trouble," is a collection of 13 short stories dealing with family entanglements and relationship issues.

The title story is a three-girls-and-a-guy morality play. Nelson said "Female Trouble" was the most inclusive title for her collection because "my stories are almost always about female trouble of some sort."
