Phi Kappa Phi to hold initiation and banquet

The New Mexico State University chapter of Phi Kappa Phi honor society will hold its annual spring initiation ceremony and banquet on Monday, April 29.


ion will be at 6 p.m. in the Corbett Center Auditorium, with the banquet to follow in the Corbett Center ballrooms. All active Phi Kappa Phi members are encouraged to come.

The keynote speaker will be university President Jay Gogue.

The primary objective of Phi Kappa Phi is to recognize and encourage superior scholarship in all academic disciplines. Undergraduate seniors within the upper 10 percent of their class and juniors who are in the upper 7.5 percent of their class are eligible for induction. Graduate students with a grade point average of 3.8 or above are eligible.
