Finalist to be interviewed for enrollment management position

William N. Anderson, associate vice president for enrollment services at New Jersey Institute of Technology, has been added to the list of finalists for the position of associate vice president of enrollment management at New Mexico State University, said search committee chair Rebecca Dukes, vice president for university advancement.


n will come to campus for a day-long interview Wednesday, May 1. The other two finalists are Susan McKinnon, associate vice president for student affairs/enrollment management, at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Bonnie J. Scranton, registrar at Antioch College in Ohio. McKinnon will interview Wednesday, April 24, and Scranton, on Thursday, May 2.

Anderson joined NJIT, located in Newark, N.J., in 1987 as dean of enrollment planning. He was promoted to assistant vice president in 1990 and to associate vice president in 2000. He is responsible for graduate and undergraduate admissions, financial aid, registration and records. Previously, he was director of admissions at Ohio Dominican College in Columbus, Ohio. He has a bachelor's degree in English from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., a master's in college student personnel from Indiana State University, a master's in computer science from Marist College, an M.B.A. from Rutgers University, and a Ph.D. from Rutgers' Graduate School of Management with an emphasis in computer information systems.

Anderson's interview schedule includes open forums with faculty and staff at 3:45-4:30 p.m. in Corbett Center Room 315 and with students at 10:15-11 a.m. in the New Mexico Room, Corbett Center.
