Exhibit celebrates El dia de los ninos/El dia de los libros

In celebration of El dia de los ninos/El dia de los libros (Children's Day/Book Day), the New Mexico State University Library is presenting an exhibit of bilingual children's books April 29 through May 12.

A table on the first floor of Zuhl Library features children's books and books about children's literature that are available to be checked out by campus and guest borrowers all hours the library is open. There is also a noncirculating display of bilingual books from the Southwestern Children's Book Collection in the Special Collections Reading Room, second floor, Branson Library. Special Collections is open 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

El dia de los ninos/El dia de los libros is being promoted by the New Mexico Chapter of REFORMA, the National Association to Promote Library and Information Services to Latinos and the Spanish-Speaking. Pat Mora, a noted children's author and member of the New Mexico Chapter, initiated the annual event.
