Employers can reach NMSU's cream of the crop at Career Expo 2003

Employers from across the nation are invited to network with New Mexico State University's top students at the 19th annual Career Expo, Sept. 16-17, on the main campus in Las Cruces.

an 1,000 students will be on hand to explore career options including possible internships and co-ops. Employers will meet with NMSU students between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day in the Corbett Center Ballrooms.

"This is a chance to spice up your employment pool by showcasing your organization and its career opportunities to eager candidates," said Roseanne Bensley, assistant director of NMSU's placement and career services. "You can spend two days visiting with diverse, dynamic and well-educated students."

The first day of the expo will focus on employers in the areas of allied health, agriculture, business and liberal arts. The second day will feature employers in engineering, science and technology. Employers can participate both days.

The university's Career Expo "is the largest career fair in New Mexico and west Texas," Bensley said. The fair continues to grow each year. More than 100 employers were able to access NMSU students at last year's event.

Career Expo is sponsored by NMSU's College of Engineering and Placement and Career Services.
