NMSU Board of Regents to meet July 28 and 29 in Santa Fe

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University has scheduled a series of meetings on Monday, July 28, and Tuesday, July 29, at the El Dorado Hotel, 309 W. San Francisco St., Santa Fe, N.M.

rd will hold an open retreat at 8 a.m. Monday, July 28, in the hotel's Sunset Room to review the university's Performance Indicators for 2002-2003 Strategic Targets and discuss strategies and targets for 2003-2004.

At noon on Monday, July 28, the board will meet in a closed executive session in the hotel's Pinon Room to discuss limited personnel matters including the university president and the appointment of an interim president, pending litigation, and the disposal and purchase of real estate, in accordance with Sections 10-15-1 H (2), (7) and (8), NMSA 1978. If necessary, the executive session will be recessed at 1:30 p.m. and reconvened at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, in the same location.

At 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 28, following the executive session, the board will reconvene its retreat in the Sunset Room to resume the discussion of strategies and future targets.

A regular meeting of the Board of Regents will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, also in the Sunset Room.

Copies of agendas will be available at the University Communications Department, 1763-B E. University Ave. (Pan Am Plaza), Las Cruces, no later than Friday, July 25.
