New Mexico State University Parents' Weekend is Oct. 3-4

Students and their parents will be able to participate in many events together at New Mexico State University during Parents' Weekend 2003, hosted by the Alumni Association, Oct. 3-4.


p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, in Corbett Center Student Union, Kelley Coffeen will instruct students and parents on college cooking.

A tailgate at "Aggieville," located on the north practice field by Aggie Memorial Stadium, will begin at 4 p.m. Food and beverages will be provided for those with tickets. Kickoff for the football game against the University of Idaho will be at 6 p.m.

Tickets for tailgating and the football game can be purchased through the Alumni Association. Tailgating tickets are $10 and football game tickets are $7.

Other campus events include NMSU's Choral Performance "Let Us Entertain You" at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, at the Music Center Recital Hall. Tickets for the performance are $12.

The Department of Theatre Arts is presenting the "Laramie Project" in the Hershel Zohn Theatre at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3. Tickets are $9 for students; $11 for seniors, faculty and staff; and $13 for others.

The Art Gallery will have a display of "Night Journey" by Susan kae Grant at the University Art Gallery until Oct. 9. For more information call (505) 646-2545.
