Regents schedule focus group sessions on presidential search

A series of focus group sessions will be held on Oct. 21 and 22 to seek input from New Mexico State University stakeholders as the university begins a search for its next president.

The schedule for Tuesday, Oct. 21, is:

11 to 11:45 a.m., Administrative Council.

Noon to 12:45 p.m., Faculty Senate leadership, lunch.

1 to 1:45 p.m., Cooperative Extension Service and Agricultural Experiment Station leadership.

2 to 2:45 p.m., representatives of minority programs.

3 to 3:45 p.m., legislators and the mayor of Las Cruces.

4 to 4:45 p.m., Alumni Executive Council and Foundation Executive Board.

All of the Oct. 21 sessions will be at the President's Residence on Geothermal Road.

The schedule for Wednesday, Oct. 22, is:

8 to 8:45 a.m., branch campuses, Room 96, Dona Ana Branch Community College, telephonic.

9 to 9:45 a.m., open session for students, faculty and staff, Corbett Center Senate Chambers.

10 to 10:45 a.m., open session for the public, Corbett Center Senate Chambers.

11 to 11:45 a.m., Advisory Council on Administrative Policy, President's Residence.

Noon to 12:45 p.m., Associated Students of NMSU leadership, lunch, President's Residence.

1 to 1:45 p.m., Aggie Scholarship Association Executive Board and Athletic Council, President's Residence.
