New Mexico State University to hold annual student jewelry sale

New Mexico State University's Art Department will hold its annual student jewelry sale from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, in the lobby of Williams Hall, which is located near the intersection of Solano Drive and University Avenue.

elry is crafted by NMSU students using vinyl, found objects and other materials. The jewelry varies from dangling earrings, bead-encrusted pieces, sterling silver hair combs, hair sticks, powder-coated steel earrings, brooches and pins. Most work will be priced from $5 to $25.

The proceeds of the sale will finance the purchase of new tools, studio maintenance and guest artist visits. Students will receive a portion of sales for their work. Checks and cash will be accepted at the sale.
