NMSU's astronomy department to have open house

Children and their families are invited to attend a free open house for New Mexico State University's Department of Astronomy at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 31, at the Clyde W. Tombaugh Observatory on campus.

my professor Bernie McNamara and graduate students Bhasker Moorthy and Sarah Giandoni will be on hand to help visitors observe the planet Mars and other celestial objects.

The Clyde W. Tombaugh Observatory is located on Williams Street, just south of the tennis courts on campus.
