"Choose New Mexico State University" comes to Farmington

High School students and parents interested in learning if New Mexico State University is the choice for them can meet with university representatives and students from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 17, at the Best Western Inn and Suites, 700 Scott Ave., in Farmington.

gram, sponsored by the New Mexico State Office of Admissions, will include on-site admissions where students can bring their high school transcripts to determine if they will be admitted into the university without paying an application fee.

"Choose NMSU is a free program for students and parents to learn more about our campus and programs," said Angela Mora-Riley, director of NMSU admissions. "We want high school students to know more about the treasures available to them at New Mexico State."

At 7 p.m. there will be a welcome and a presentation on financial aid and housing opportunities. At 7:30 p.m. a panel of NMSU students will be available to answer questions.
