Undergraduate communication studies majors have option of night courses

Students pursuing a degree in communications studies at New Mexico State University now have the option of completing their degree at night, said Walter R. Zakahi, professor and department head of communication studies.

ng spring 2004, the program will have at least two communication studies classes in the 6 to 7:15 p.m. time slot.

"This (program) will serve people who are time bound," said Zakahi.

"We believe, by combining Weekend College, other courses in the evening and this new time change a student should successfully complete an undergraduate degree program," he said.

Courses to be offered in the spring are Communication/Culture 376 and Conflict Management 377.
