Historic calendar available at the New Mexico State University Library

People will be able to step back in time with the New Mexico State University Library's Rio Grande Historical Collections 2004 calendar.

"New Mexico: The Land and Its People" is a large-sized calendar featuring historic images of people working on the land and enjoying the outdoors. The striking photographs were taken between 1880 and 1940 at White Sands, the Organ Mountains, the farms and ranches of the Mesilla Valley, the Mescalero Apache Reservation and other locations in southern New Mexico.

Copies of the calendar can be purchased at the second-floor offices of Zuhl Library for $6 each.

To see the cover image of the calendar on the Web, visit http://archives.nmsu.edu/rghc/2004calendar.htm.
