New Mexico State University Board of Regents to meet Sept.

The Board of Regents of New Mexico State University will meet at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Center on the main campus in Las Cruces.


n the proposed agenda include:

- Presentation on State Trust Land by Commissioner Ray Powell of the State Land Office.

- Approval of additional new or expanded research, public service and other line-item project requests.

- Approval of a ground lease extension with Dona Ana County for the KRWG-TV transmitter.

- A report on sponsored project awards for fiscal year 2001.

- A report on grants and contracts expenditures for fiscal year 2001.

- Fall 2001 preliminary enrollment report for the main and branch campuses.

- Presentation of results of the facilities condition audit of I&G (instruction and general) space at the main and branch campuses.

- A year-to-date activity report for University Advancement.

- NMSU Foundation report.

The regular session of the board will be preceded by a closed executive session at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, in Room 148 of Goddard Annex for the purpose of discussing personnel, real estate and legal matters. The executive session will be followed, at about 11 a.m., by a tour of the newly renovated Goddard Annex and Goddard Hall, led by Engineering Dean Jay Jordan.
