Finalists for advancement vice president to visit

Four finalists for the position of vice president for advancement at New Mexico State University will interview on campus June 11-14.


ndidate will participate in a day of scheduled interviews, including a one-hour open meeting for the university community. The finalists, in order of their visits, are:

Monday, June 11: Rebecca Dukes, vice president for institutional advancement at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah. The open meeting will be from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Otero Room of Corbett Center Student Union.

Tuesday, June 12: Marilyn Johnson, vice president for institutional advancement at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The open meeting will be from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Dove Hall Conference Room.

Wednesday, June 13: Christopher D. Murray, associate dean for external affairs for the Lundquist College of Business at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore. The open meeting will be from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. in the Dove Hall Conference Room.

Thursday, June 14: Bruce A. Mack, assistant vice president for university development at Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind. The open meeting will be from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Dove Hall Conference Room.

New Mexico State's vice president for university advancement is responsible for fund-raising activities, serves as executive secretary of the New Mexico State University Foundation and oversees the offices of alumni affairs, development and university communications.
