NMSU Women's Studies Program to teach self-defense to men and women

The New Mexico State University Women's Studies Program and student organization Feminists Reinventing Equality Everywhere (FREE) will host a self-defense workshop for men and women from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 7.


The event will be held in the Colfax Room of the Corbett Center Student Union on the university campus.
The program will dispel myths about self-defense and emphasize personal safety awareness. Participants will learn about body mechanics and the psychology of the victim and attacker.
