NMSU President Martin is recipient of Racial Harmony Award

New Mexico State University President Michael Martin is the recipient of this year's Racial Harmony Award. Martin will be honored by NMSU's Office of Black Programs at the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast Friday, Jan. 20, in the Corbett Center Ballrooms.

Martin was selected for his progressive leadership skills. "It takes a great leader to be progressive," said Festus Addo-Yobo, director of Black Programs. "President Martin is fostering race relations at the university and also is helping the community at large."
