NMSU ART GALLERY TO OPEN PHOTOGRAPH EXHIBIT JAN. 13


Mexico State University Art Gallery will open the exhibit "Ritual, Desire and Death" with a gallery reception from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13.

The exhibit will feature the work of photographers Dennis Daily, Mary Wolf and Dick George, who will speak at the reception at 6 p.m. For more information call (505) 646-2545.


SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO PRESENT BEATLES TRIBUTE

The Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra will perform "A Tribute to the Beatles" Pops Concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, and at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at New Mexico State University's Music Center Recital Hall. For ticket information call (505) 646-3709.


LUCAS TO SPEAK AT MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. BREAKFAST

New Mexico State University's Black Programs will present the 20th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, in the Corbett Center Ballrooms.

The keynote address, "From Light to Darkness to the Brightest of Lights," will be given by John Lucas, former NBA player and coach.

JAZZ ALL-STATE CONCERTS TO BE HELD AT NMSU
