Dona Ana Branch Community College honors outstanding graduates

The New Mexico State University Alumni Association has selected its Spring 2002 Outstanding Graduates from the Dona Ana Branch Community College (DABCC) based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, ability and participation in college and community activities.

iness and Information Systems Division is honoring Terry King, a computer technology major. King, of Las Cruces, is a Crimson Scholar and has a grade point average of 4.0. She was nominated to the National All-U.S.A. Academic Team and the State of New Mexico All Academic Team.

The Health and Public Services Division is honoring Kelly Duran, a radiologic technology major. Duran, of Alamogordo, N.M., belongs to the Associated Students of Dona Ana Community College and the Radiologic Technology Club. She is a secretary at Radiologic Technology and has a grade point average of 3.93.

The Technical Studies Division is honoring Eric Harmon, a water technology major. Harmon, of Las Cruces, is a member of the Water Tech Club and has been a Water Technology Program tutor for three semesters. He carries a GPA of 3.942.

The White Sands Education Center is honoring Sharron L. Tamplen, a computer technology major. Tamplen, of Las Cruces, is an Army Family Teambuilding instructor and is the chairperson and instructor for the East Mesa Baptist Church nursery program. She has a GPA of 3.789.
