NMSU MUSIC DEPARTMENT TO HOST 'THE NUTCRACKER'


Cruces Chamber Ballet will present the "The Nutcracker" Dec. 16-19 at New Mexico State University's Music Center Recital Hall.

Performances will begin at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16-18, and 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 19. Tickets are $15 for the Thursday performance and $15 and $18 for the Friday, Saturday and Sunday performances.

UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY FEATURES TWO ARTISTS

The New Mexico State University Art Gallery is featuring the work of high school art teachers Raul Dorn and Rob Rutherford through Dec. 17.

Dorn teaches in the Las Cruces Public Schools and Rutherford teaches at a private school in Idylewild, Calif. Both painters incorporate found objects into their work, building surfaces with layers of paint and other materials.

SUSAN KING EXHIBITION AT CONROY HONORS CENTER
