More than 100 employers expected for Career Expo

More than 100 employers from across the nation are expected to participate in New Mexico State University's Career Expo 2004, to be held Sept. 21 and 22 at the university's Corbett Center Student Union Ballrooms.

s and community residents can explore career options including internships and co-ops and meet with potential employers between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. The first day of the expo will showcase employers in the areas of allied health, agriculture, business and liberal arts. The second day will feature employers in engineering, science and technology. Some employers will be present both days.

This is the university's 20th annual Career Expo "and it is the largest career fair in southern New Mexico and west Texas," said coordinator Roseanne Bensley, assistant director of Placement and Career Services.

"The turnout for Career Expo 2004 demonstrates the commitment employers have for New Mexico State University as a continuing source of top-notch talent," Bensley said.

Candidates should bring copies of their resumes to the career fair.
