Seventh annual Move-In Days to take place Aug. 15 and 17 at New Mexico State

The seventh annual New Mexico State University Move-In Days, sponsored by New Mexico State Greek Life and ANGLE (Advocating NMSU Greek Life and Education), will take place Thursday, Aug. 15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, Aug. 17, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

usinesses have donated nearly 100 shopping carts, 65 gallons of lemonade and other refreshments for this event. More than 400 Greek members, athletes, university faculty and members of other campus organizations are expected to be volunteering to move students into their dorms this year. The front rows of parking areas at Garcia Hall, Alumni Avenue, the Women's Residence Center and Rhodes Garrett Hamiel will be 20-minute loading zones for students moving in.

Maria Lucero, one of the coordinators for this year's Move-In Days, said that parents and students are always grateful to have extra help during this time of the year. "We've gotten a lot of cooperation from parking and other offices on campus, so it should be a great turn out," she said.
