Four New Mexico State University undergraduate students have received mathematics scholarships for the fall 2002 semester.

ular mathematics department scholarships were awarded this year. Sarah Ellis, who will graduate in December, was awarded a scholarship worth $400. Andrea Magby received a department scholarship worth $250. Magby expects to graduate in May 2003.

Nolan Clayton and William Scott both received special incentive award scholarships for $100 each.

These scholarships are presented each semester to students who have demonstrated progress in their study of mathematics and have good potential for completing their academic program. The scholarships are funded by donations from community members.
