The students of New Mexico State University's jewelry and metalsmithng program will hold their annual jewelry sale from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1.

nt will take place in the lobby of the NMSU art building, Williams Hall, which is located near the intersection of Solano Drive and University Avenue.

The sale will offer a variety of items made from a surprising range of materials, as the students explore the integration of color and a wide range of materials from colorful anodized aluminum pieces, nylon and plexiglass pendants, patterned metals, and steel and silver rings. There also will be more traditional materials and styles such as elegant silver earrings and beautiful enameled works.

Students receive a portion of the sales for their work and the rest will benefit students by bringing in visiting artists for lectures and technical demonstrations and equipping the studio with new tools and supplies.
