NMSU Women's Studies Program hosts seminar about mentoring

The New Mexico State University Woman's Studies Program and the National Science Foundation (NSF) ADVANCE Program will sponsor "Mentoring Dynamics: A Goals-Based Approach" at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, in Breland Hall Room 333.


inar will provide a goals-based approach to understanding the dynamics and principles involved in mentoring.

The featured speaker is Ivan Lopez, an organizational consultant, who will discuss long-term and short-term commitments for mentoring relationships and how mentoring will influence current and future generations.

Graduate assistants, teaching assistants, professors, university staff, leaders of student organizations and anyone working with the public are strongly encouraged to attend.
