NMSU Board of Regents re-elects officers

The New Mexico State University Board of Regents today (Monday, March 14, 2005) re-elected Robert M. Gallagher of Rio Rancho as president.

-elected as officers were M. Steven Anaya of Moriarty, vice president, and Laura M. Conniff of Las Cruces, secretary-treasurer.

The vote to retain the current slate of officers for another year was unanimous.

Gallagher is president of the New Mexico Oil and Gas Association. Anaya is state director of the New Mexico Fannie Mae Partnership. Conniff is co-broker and co-owner of Mathers Realty.

The other members of the Board of Regents are Steve W. Lewis of Artesia, owner of Lewis Land and Livestock Co., and Sherry Kamali, an NMSU student double-majoring in biology and Spanish.
