ASTRONOMER TO DISCUSS CASSINI MISSION


ico State University astronomer Reta Beebe will discuss the Cassini mission to Saturn and its moons during a public presentation at 8 p.m. Friday, March 25, in Room 106 of Hardman Hall on the NMSU main campus.

Beebe's talk is being presented as part of the spring meeting of the American Association of Variable Star Observers (AAVSO), hosted by the NMSU Department of Astronomy.

DISCUSSION TO EXPLORE ATTITUDES ABOUT WOMEN'S SEXUALITY

The New Mexico State University Women's Studies Program will end the celebration of Women's History Month with a discussion on "The Female Orgasm: A Cultural Exploration of Women's Sexuality and Body Image" at 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in the Corbett Center Auditorium.

The program will explore contemporary attitudes and traditional beliefs about the female body and women's sexuality. It is co-sponsored by NMSU student organization Feminists Reinventing Equality Everywhere and the Women's Resource Center at Mountain View Medical Center in Las Cruces.

NMSU TO HOST WHEELCHAIR-ABLE BODY TENNIS LEAGUE

The New Mexico State University Adapted Physical Education program will have a Wheelchair-Able Body Tennis League from 5 to 6 p.m. every Sunday through May 1 at the university tennis center.

The league will feature a Wheelchair Division and a Wheelchair-Able Body Division that will allow wheelchair-users to compete against able-bodied athletes. A tennis tournament will be held in May for the two divisions.
