NMSU to have new student registration in June

New students planning to attend New Mexico State University can register in June during the New Student Registration program.


s can register from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the following dates at the Educational Services Center on the main campus: Monday, June 6 and 20; Tuesday, June 14 and 28; Wednesday, June 8 and 22; Thursday, June 16 and 30; Friday, June 10 and 24; and Saturday, June 4 and 18.

The day will include advising sessions, math placement exams, ID card services, e-mail and PIN set-up and a tour of residence halls.

In addition, all new students are encouraged to attend the orientation program Aggie Welcome Week (AWW) Aug. 16-19. Participants will learn about the university and how to be a successful Aggie. The cost is $75 for students who register before June 30 and $100 thereafter. Need-based scholarships are available. AWW combines the success of the former New Student Orientation and Chile Camp programs.
