NEW HORIZONS BAND TO PERFORM

GIRLS' INDIVIDUAL BASKETBALL CAMP TO BE HELD

The Darin Spence Girls' Individual Basketball Camp will be held June 1 and 2 in the New Mexico State University Pan American Center. The camp is for girls in kindergarten through eighth grade and will focus on the basic fundamentals of basketball such as shooting, passing and ball handling. UNIVERSITY ART GALLERY HOSTS REGIONAL INVITATIONAL

The University Art Gallery at New Mexico State University will host the Second Bi-annual Regional Invitational Exhibition, featuring artists from New Mexico, Texas, Arizona and Colorado. The exhibition opens with a gallery reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. June 3, and will run through July 31. The reception features a raffle for an all-expense paid trip for two to Chicago and other prizes. For more information call (505) 646-2545.

UNIVERSITY MUSEUM PRESENTS TWO EXHIBITS

The New Mexico State University Museum is presenting two exhibits, "La Herencia" and "Southwest Memories: Family Auto Touring in the 1950s," through Aug. 13.

"La Herencia" depicts a variety of covers from La Herencia magazine, New Mexico's most widely read Hispanic journal. "Southwest Memories" features images of families traveling through the Southwest during the 1950s.
