Tickets still available for "NMSU Night" hosted by El Paso Diablos July 7

New Mexico State University community members and friends are invited to attend "NMSU Night" hosted by the El Paso Diablos when they play the Pensacola Pelicans at 7:05 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Cohen Stadium, 9700 Gateway North in northeast El Paso.

New students enrolling in the fall semester can obtain their tickets for free, but must reserve their tickets ahead of time. Tickets for family and other NMSU community members and friends of the university can bought for $3.50.

"We want our students to have the opportunity to interact with our faculty and staff members outside of the classroom environment," said Valerie Pickett, director of student marketing and transitions programs.

Michael Jordan, NMSU's volleyball coach, will throw the first pitch of the night with two of his players by his side. Some NMSU programs will have informational booths set up throughout the stadium.

Tickets can be picked up at Cohen stadium at the NMSU ticket booth located at the third base gate. They can also be bought the day of the game at the stadium ticket booth for $5, but seating in the NMSU section is not guaranteed.
