NMSU THEATRE ARTS TO HOLD FALL AUDITIONS


eatre Arts and the American Southwest Theatre Company will hold auditions for their fall 2006 shows in the Hershel Zohn Theatre on Aug. 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for actors 10-70 years old.

A sign-up sheet for a five minute audition slot is posted on the callboard in the Hershel Zohn Theatre lobby. Actors are asked to come prepared with a memorized monologue running no longer than 60 seconds and 16 bars of an up-tempo song from a musical.

LAS CRUCES SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA TO PERFORM AT NMSU
The Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra will present "The Classical Mystery Tour - a Tribute to the Beatles" at the Aggie Memorial Stadium on Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. There will be fireworks after the show. Tickets are available at the Pan Am Center Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster outlets.

HERSHEL ZOHN THEATRE HOSTS "TWO DONUTS"
The American Southwest Theatre Company and the Creede Repertory Theatre will present "Two Donuts," a bilingual fantasy play, Sept. 1 at 7 p.m., and Sept. 2 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the New Mexico State University Hershel Zohn Theater.

Written by Jose Cruz Gonzalez and told in Spanish and English with puppetry, music and humor, "Two Donuts" tells the story of a young boy from the barrio who learns to take pride in his culture and himself.

Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children under 12.
