NMSU ART GALLERY TO PRESENT SUNDAY AFTERNOON TALKS


Gallery at New Mexico State University will host "Sunday Afternoon Gallery Talks" in the D.W. Williams Art Center at University Avenue and Solano Drive. Featured artists from the Art Gallery's 2005 Regional Invitational exhibit will speak about various art topics.

At 2 p.m. July 10, Michael Ceschiat will discuss "Wildflower Bull's Eyes and Bombs: Contemporary Ceramic Sculpture." Joan Talty will present "Abstract Painting" at 2 p.m. July 17. For more information call (505) 646-4010.


UNIVERSITY MUSEUM TO HOLD SATURDAY FAMILY WORKSHOPS
The New Mexico State University Museum will offer a Saturday Family Workshop on "Mini Mobiles" from 2 to 3:30 p.m. July 9. "Dancing Animals" is the theme for the July 16 workshop, also from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

UNION PROGRAM COUNCIL PRESENTS SUMMER MOVIE SERIES
New Mexico State University's Union Program Council is offering free family movies during July. "Grease" will be showing at 9 p.m. July 13 on the Corbett Center Outdoor Stage. For more information call (505) 646-3200.


PGM JUNIOR GOLF CAMP TO BE HELD
The Professional Golf Management program of New Mexico State University will hold a PGM junior golf camp July 10-15 for players ages 9 to 18 to hone their golf skills. For more information call (505) 646-7686.


STATE 4-H CONFERENCE IS JULY 11-15
More than 400 students from New Mexico will meet on the New Mexico State University campus for the state 4-H conference and will compete in a variety of contests ranging from livestock judging and archery to marksmanship and consumer products ratings. JORNADA SYMPOSIUM TO BE HELD JULY 14
The 15th Annual Jornada Symposium will be held July 14 at Wooton Hall on the New Mexico State University campus. Fifteen talks on various research projects in the Chihuahuan Desert region will be presented, followed by a social and barbecue dinner at the Jornada Experimental Range.
