UNIVERSITY MUSEUM EXHIBITS


The New Mexico State University Museum will present the photographic display "La Herencia," depicting a variety of La Herencia magazine covers, until Aug. 13. La Herencia is New Mexico's most widely read Hispanic journal, with articles written by local historians from New Mexico and the Southwest.

The exhibit "Southwest Memories: Family Auto Touring in the 1950s" will be on display until Aug. 13 and features images of families traveling through the Southwest during the 1950s. Personal artifacts and clothing popular during the 1950s will also be on display.

From 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 7, the museum will offer a Saturday Family Workshop, where families can spend the afternoon viewing exhibits and Mother's Day flowers. The workshop is free and supplies are provided.

ART GALLERY PRESENTS MASTER'S STUDENTS

MUSIC CENTER TO HOST EVENTS

The New Mexico State University Music Center will host the Las Cruces Symphony at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 1, with violinist Chee-Yun. For more information call (505) 646-3709.

CIRCUS, ROCK CONCERT, SOCCER AT NMSU

The Pan American Center at New Mexico State will host the Ringling Bros. Barnum and Bailey Circus at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5, and at 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, May 6.

La Ley, a Grammy award-winning pop rock band from Chile, will be in concert at 8 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at the Pan American Center.

The International Soccer Challenge will be making a stop in Las Cruces at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 15, at Aggie Memorial Stadium. General admission tickets are $25. A Mexican professional team, the Pumas, have been confirmed to appear.
