New Mexico State University celebrates El Dia de los Ninos

The New Mexico State University Library will present an exhibit of bilingual children's books in celebration of El Dia de los Ninos/El Dia de los Libros (Children's Day/Book Day) April 30.

erials will be displayed in the main lobby and the first floor west of Branson Library from April 25 through May 1. The exhibit, prepared by Irene Shown and Deborah Parker of the Library staff, features books that are available to be checked out.

El Dia de los Ninos/ El Dia de los Libros was founded by Pat Mora, a noted children's author and a member of the New Mexico chapter of REFORMA, the national association to promote library and information services to Latinos and the Spanish-speaking.
