NMSU THEATRE ARTS PRESENTS "THE GOOD DOCTOR"
New Mexico State University's Department of Theatre Arts and the American Southwest Theatre Company (ASTC) will open the 2005-2006 season with the critically acclaimed Broadway hit "The Good Doctor" Sept. 23 through Oct. 2.

The play, written by Neil Simon, is a collection of comic sketches based on Russian playwright Anton Chekhov's short stories. Tickets are $8-$13, depending on performance date and time. For performance times and ticket information, call the ASTC box office at (505) 646-4515.


NMSU'S DANCE PROGRAM TO PRESENT "LA BELLA Y BESTIA"
The Dance Program at New Mexico State University will present a Southwest version of "Beauty and the Beast" at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sept. 24 in the Onate High School auditorium. "La Bella y Bestia" will incorporate dance, music and theater and will introduce children to the world of dance and literature.
