NMSU Choirs opens season with NMSU president

The Choirs at New Mexico State University will open its season with "Red, White and the Blues" at 8 p.m. Oct. 7 and 8 at the Music Center Recital Hall. NMSU President Michael Martin will sing with the gospel choir.


White and the Blues' is choral music that is highly entertaining," said Jerry Ann Alt, choral director. The choirs will sing the blues, gospel tunes, songs of love and songs that tell stories of American people.

Accompanists for the performances are Ji Young Han and Las Cruces native Marco Jimenez.
