Dance performance "A Celebration of Creation" will be held at New Mexico Stat

"A Celebration of Creation," a senior dance concert, will be held at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Oct. 25 and 26, in the Corbett Center Auditorium at New Mexico State University.

cert will include jazz, ballet, modern and Latin dance. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

"A Celebration of Creation" was choreographed by seniors Candace Craig, Lori-Ann Eorio and Lecie McNees, who will be the first seniors to graduate with bachelor's degrees in dance from New Mexico State.

Craig is a Crimson Scholar, president of the Dance Society and four-year member of the NMSU Dance Ensemble. She will graduate in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology and dance.

Eorio holds an associate's degree in dance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pa. At New Mexico State, she has studied ballet and modern dance and has been a member of the NMSU Dance Ensemble for two years.

McNees holds an associate's degree in fine and performing arts with a jazz dance focus from Santa Fe Community College. She has taught jazz dance at two summer youth workshops at New Mexico State, been a member of the Sundancers, the NMSU DanceSport Team and the NMSU Dance Ensemble.
